Rhonda Cash-Huggins, Office Manager
As our office manager, Rhonda’s dental knowledge makes her the perfect person for the job! She can help you with appointments, insurance, financing, and accounting. She grew up in Carrollton, back “when everybody knew everybody”, and now resides in Lake Dallas with her husband, granddaughter, and dogs. She started her career as a dental assistant before moving up to practice manager over the years.
According to Rhonda the best thing about Family Smiles Dental Group is the warm, friendly atmosphere and family-oriented patient care. The staff truly has compassion and concern for each and every patient. When she is not at the office she enjoys boating, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Minnie Metzger, Receptionist
We call Minnie the Front Desk Goddess because she’s so good at answering phones, scheduling patients, and handling insurance claims. She is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, but she currently lives in Denton. With over 30 years in the dental field, she is a people person who enjoys seeing all that dentistry can do to have a positive impact on people’s lives. She loves the staff at Family Smiles Dental Group and seeing them help patients have more beautiful smiles.
Minnie enjoys traveling, musicals, reading, spending time with her pets and friends, dining out, and being outdoors.
Katelyn Fouse, Registered Dental Hygienist
Katelyn known for her bubbly personality and passion for dental hygiene makes her a perfect fit in our office. Katelyn has worked in the dental field since 2020, becoming a dental hygienist in 2024. In her role as a dental hygienist, Katelyn enjoys providing her patients with preventive dental treatments to help enhance their oral health, while building personal lasting relationships with each patient.
Outside of work Katelyn enjoys frequent shopping trips, and spending time with her fiancé Zach & their dog Louis! Growing up in a small town in North Texas (Vernon), Katelyn has found a new love living in the Flower Mound community. According to Katelyn her favorite thing about Family Smiles Dental Group is the closeness of all of the staff as well as the patients, the office is full of such loving and welcoming vibes.
Mary del Cid, Registered Dental Hygienist
Mary graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene. Mary is passionate about her career because she gets to teach her patients how to achieve their optimal oral health.
In her free time, she enjoys going to FC Dallas soccer games, and hanging out with her family. She was born and raised in Irving, Texas, where she currently lives with her husband and baby boy. Mary joined our office in May of 2024.
Jennifer Blakely-Wright, Registered Dental Assistant
Jennifer has been happily committed to working as a dental assistant for 14 years now. She really loves interacting with the patients and making them feel like family from the moment she greets them. In her spare time, she loves playing with her fur babies, crafting, doing outdoor activities and spending time with her loved ones. The first thing you will notice about her is her kind heart.
